Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) through a General Circular No. 03/2026 dated 08.07.26 extended the validity of Companies Compliance Facilitation Scheme,2026 from 15.07.26 to 31.08.26.
The Scheme came into force to provide an opportunity to companies to complete pending statutory filings. The circular states that this extension was brought into effect after a fire incident took place at the MCA’s data center on 05.06.26. So, in order for capacity enhancement and restoration activities to take place at the data center, the extension has been done.
