The respondent is a leading Real Estate Developer engaged in activities involving own or leased property, which includes buying, selling, renting and operating of self-owned or leased real estate such as apartment building and dwellings, non-residential buildings developing and subdividing real estate into lots etc.
Maheshwari & Co. acted as the legal counsel for our client who bought a property in one of the mega projects and paid a huge sum in accordance with the allotment letter. However, the Real Estate company failed to provide possession within the stipulated time and thereby breached the terms of the BBA. Our client, after several long correspondences was at last compelled to file a complaint before the Real Estate Regulatory Authority, Gurgaon, to seek a full refund of the paid amount along with interest.
Our firm represented the complainant and was successful in getting the refund along with interest of more than Rs. 5 Crores.
